I find your boxes very beautiful on the web page.
As I live in Sydney I wondered if you had a place in the Blue Mountains where you actually have some for sale.

Hi Tony,
I've always enjoyed your artistic talent, ever since I joined
www.lumberjocks.com.
I'll be looking forward to more of your creations.
I was reading that you're allergic to Ash. It seems like a lot more
people are allergic to Cedar
I wish you all of the best!

I would like to register to look at the box plans but it keeps rejecting my password - even the most obscure and personal ones are rejected as "having been used by someone else". What can I do?
Tony Ward : Problem sorted, I understand you are now enabled to use the free plans!
Welcome to the world of bandsawn box making, where the traditional rules of box making do not apply!

Wow, what great innovation, your work pushes the boundary well beyond other bandsaw box makers, well done!

Hi Tony
Great work ,do you use any hardwoods Red gum, ash etc?
I made a bandsaw box two or three years ago, used Popular mainly because it was soft and easy to work and we had some large pieces.
Could send a picture of finished box.

At this time I have a stock of Australian Red Cedar. Of all the timbers I've had available in the past I prefer the Red Cedar as it is easy to use, it does not blunt the sawing and carving tools. I have an allergy to some of the Ash timbers and find that I cannot get a satisfactory finish with Red Gum timbers.
As you may be aware I host a Visiting Artist Page, makers of bandsawn boxes. A close inspection will demonstrate the criteria for inclusion, that is originality, technique and design.
